Who We Are
PFA Ahilyanagar is a voluntary, non-profit organization working for the rescue, treatment, and well-being of animals in and around Ahilyanagar city since 2010. Our mission is carried out without any government financial support and is powered entirely by passionate volunteers and the public’s donations.
Our Mission
To rescue, protect, treat, and rehabilitate injured, ill, or abandoned animals while creating awareness and compassion in society for voiceless beings.
To protect and care for stray animals through:
- Daily feeding drives
- Reflective collar distribution
- Awareness camps in schools and public places
- Promoting compassion and responsibility in society
Our Vision
A future where no animal suffers on the streets, and every citizen feels responsible for the lives of animals around them.
To build a fully equipped vet hospital with:
- X-ray, blood tests, and surgery facilities
- Affordable care under one roof
- Life-saving support for injured and sick animals
At present, due to the unavailability of such infrastructure, we are often forced to seek costly private treatment for emergencies. We envision a future where every animal in need receives timely and affordable care, without compromise.
Our History
PFA Ahmednagar began in 2010 and officially registered in 2016. What started with simple rescue efforts has now grown into a full-scale operation with:
- An ambulance service, the first in the district
- A rescue team of trained volunteers
- Regular sterilization and vaccination drives
- Animal shelter and recovery space
- Mass awareness campaigns
Today, we’re one of the region’s most trusted animal care NGOs.
